FINANCIAL FITNESS WORKSHOPS

Learn the importance of saving, budgeting, credit, and financial independence in this 8 workshop series with PEOPLE’S HOUSING+ (PH+).

PH+’s 8 week workshops will provide you with the tool necessary to manage your finances by teaching the importance paying yourself first, building a strong financial foundation and becoming financially free and independent. Attendees will gain knowledge of financial management skills to help them prepare for homeownership.

  • PH+ Financial Fitness Workshop includes lessons on:

    • Money Management

    • Planning and Goals

    • Spending and Credit

    • Banking

    • Risk Management

    • Consumer protection

  • Participants will attend 8 2-hour sessions led by People’s Housing+. They will be given interactive group in-class and homework assignment to test their knowledge. We utilize Financial fitness for Life, a curriculum designed by the Council for Economic Education.
